The doors of our hotel and restaurant are open again. Nevertheless, we have to adapt to the still extraordinary conditions and are therefore ready for you with changed opening times and a specialty menu.

TIEMANN’s Restaurant – creative interpretations of regional dishes…

Ease into your day with breakfast under a shady canopy of trees. Perhaps some salmon, or a slice of home-made cake? The way to the heart is through the stomach, as the saying goes, and this is emphasised by our passion for local produce: Saltimbocca from the “Dümmer Moorschnucke”, tapas from the area or epicurean delights from the near-by lake. Just some of the extraordinary dishes created by head chef Thomas Fock, Fred Böckmann and his team as they constantly reinterpret the local cuisine. In our new lovely sunroom, in TIEMANN’s Restaurant or out under the stars, select from our imaginative menu or dine à la carte, peruse the international wine list or sample local.
Drop into TIEMANN’s Gaststube for your nightcap and mingle with both locals and those just passing through.

Opening Hours

TIEMANN’s Restaurant and Pub:
Monday – Friday 17.30 to 22.30
Saturday, Sunday & Holiday 11.30 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 23.00

Kitchen opening times:
Monday – Friday 17.30 to 21.30
Saturday, Sunday & Holiday 11.30 to 13.30 and 17.30 to 21.30

According to the distance requirement, every person has to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters.

For groups over 25 people
proof of the absence of an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus must be presented.

This can be provided by one of the following documents:

  • Negative certification of a PCR or PoC antigen test (not older than 24 hours)
  • Official proof of vaccination (at least 14 days old after the second vaccination)
  • Official proof of recovery (at least 28 days old, maximum six months old)

From warning level 1 or an incidence of over 50, this applies to all guests of Tiemann’s restaurant.

In order to avoid group formation and waiting times, we ask you to reserve a table.
Please note the general obligation to wear a mouth and nose cover to be worn anywhere in our house and in the associated parking lot.

We are also obliged to record the contact details of all our guests. We do this digitally via the Luca app. If you do not have a mobile phone or have not installed the Luca app, please contact our reception staff, who will be happy to help you with alternatives.

TIEMANN’s Culinary Suggestions

HOORAY!!!! 2G is coming – the mask says goodbye!!

From November 1st the time has finally come. Tiemann’s team finally welcomes all guests again without mask and distance.

In order to gain access to Tiemann’s Hotel & Restaurant, you will need one of the following documents:

  • Official proof of vaccination against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus
  • Official proof of recovery from an illness with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus

Due to the seamless 2G regulation, it is again permitted in our house to move around without a mask and not to keep any distances.

Children, adolescents up to the age of 18 and people who have a medical certificate stating that they are not allowed to be vaccinated due to medical contraindications or participation in a clinical study and who submit a PoC antigen test (max. 24 hours old) also need then not to keep a distance and not to wear a mouth and nose covering.

The data acquisition via the Luca app is still something we still have.
